LJ is being difficult to contact this morning; apparently it's under a DDOS. I don't understand why someone would subject Livejournal to such an attack. It's like throwing flour bombs at the Post Office, or something.

We checked out our new local last night - R McSorleys, just up the road, and I'm pleased that it's a very nice pub - two open fires, lots of nooks and crannies and almost-private spaces, and a good atmosphere.

olethros even found a smoke-free seat.

Projects for tonight: Clear the dining room some more, write tomorrow's game and do some long-term plotting, put the metal numbers I bought two weeks ago on the front door. Buy kindling on the way home, so we can light fires.
