inannajones has provided a complete account of our evening, culture and all. I'm rediscovering a liking for baroque music, aided and abetted by the purchase of a CD of same; titled Baroque Festival. There were a fair number of people about in costume, and we saw a good few fireworks, and heard - and indeed can hear - lots more. I like festivals - although the cat apparently isn't too keen on this one.
Watch for a post sometime soon critiquing the concert in detail - when I have the program on hand, because I can't quite remember what-all was on it.
