[livejournal.com profile] branwynelf noted that there's a release date for the next Harry Potter book. Read about it here. And if you don't like it, you can use it as a doorstop, or possibly a door, given that it's a third again as big as the last one.

It's coming out on the 21st of June - the Summer Solstice. I'm wondering if that's intentional, or accidental...

A third again as big??? Not that I mind long, books, but I hate books that are too big and/or heavy to read comfortably (which means, for me, in weird positions in bed etc.). The last one was too heavy. Plus the binding wasn't strong or well-made enough for the weight.

I think they need to publish honking great tomes in multiple volumes. Even, gods help me, as trilogies... *g*
