A much more relaxed day today, a few odds and ends of work, a lunch meeting which was more lunch than meeting, and a resolution kick-started by the Graphic Designer to be a bit more organised with the promos and things that go on.
I spoke for a while to someone from Dell about getting the laptop keyboard fixed; they've taken the details and will contact me on Wednesday next with a price quotation. The keyboard is a bit dodgy, is all - the "8", "i", "k", and "," keys don't work. But getting it fixed seems to be a bit of a performance, particualrly since it's no longer under warranty.
Starting to plan for the game tonight now, while there's some brainspace. First game played in the new place, and it's sure to be a bit chaotic. Tonight's crew is Urda, Storm, Lao Ma, and Emma, although
metalrabbit may be a bit late to play Emma, and Storm may give way to Ken if I need to adjust things.
I've had no coffee whatsoever today, and still feel more or less awake. If I keep going like this, I'll have kicked the caffeine addiction completely (already way down from the high of 14 mugs a day in 1999 or thereabouts).
inannajones put in an Amazon order yesterday; at the time I couldn't think of a thing I wanted. Now, of course, I've remembered half a dozen books I want, most notably The Scar and Years of Rice and Salt.
