The weather outside is very strange. There was a howling wind as we went to bed last night, and when my alarm went off at seven this morning, there was howling wind and rain. I thought long and hard, and decided that I wouldn't get up for another three-quarters of an hour, and almost as soon as I had decided, there was a huge clap of thunder from outside. I went back to sleep.
At 07:45, the sky was clear and blue.
By the time I was on the train, there were clouds appearing in the North. By the time I was in Dun Laoghaire, there was some rain falling, and it lashed for about two minutes, yet by the time I got to my desk and looked out the window, it was dry and calm again. Now the wind is picking up, and there's light rain. Mild, moist, and changable, they told us in school, describing Ireland's climate. Dead right...
