4D objects

With the help of a site from two_star (http://dogfeathers.com/java/hyperstar.html - need Java and stuff), olethros and Terry Pratchett, I've decided that the best 2/3-D representation of a hypersphere - specifically a glome - is probably a cigar, or possibly a rugby ball, or a blimp. It may not be accurate, but it's close enough for me.

Almost New Boots

My feet have been a little sore of late - not usually badly, just a bit. I took a look at my boots this morning, and decided they could do with new insoles or something. There's also a split in one sole, but it seems OK. While getting stuff for lunch, I saw and bought padded insoles and new laces for good measure. Cut out the insoles, put them in, replace the laces, put boots on, stand up... woah. They're like new boots. It's amazing the difference three euros worth of insole makes...
