Last night was the Threshold of Ages dinner. And it was damn good; in fact it was one of the best group dinners I've been at in a while. Present were myself, [livejournal.com profile] inannajones, [livejournal.com profile] wyvernfriend and Mac, Steph and Claire, [livejournal.com profile] caturah, [livejournal.com profile] goblin_ballista, [livejournal.com profile] eng_monkey, and Alan. The place was the Prince Restaurant in Abbey Street, which is a very good Chinese tucked away where you wouldn't expect. Thence to the pub, Nealon's of Capel Street, having badgered [livejournal.com profile] caturah into staying out instead of going home. We're making this an annual event.

I'm a little hungover, but not bad overall.

Sudden new project, blew up out of nowhere, and needs to be done by the middle of next week. But we now have enough people who know what they're doing to chop the whole thing into little pieces, assign the right ones to the right people, and get it out there, so there's no stress. It's actually kind of fun to get it out so fast.

Want to hunt Rudolph down? According to this Wired News article, players of the US version of Korean cult game Lineage can do just that for a month. Other odd bits about virtual celebratin of holidays there too. I wonder how long it'll be before that reverses, and we see celebrations in the real world of virtual festivals?
