I'll do a longer update. I'll do the rest of the dishes in a minute.

The last week has been hectic. I've been able to read stuff, but not write anything - it's a good thing we didn't have an Age of Legends game this week, because it would have sucked. So let me recap the week that was. Assume work where not otherwise stated, also assume pressure to get numerous promotions for Christmas out in one week, and make the affiliate program live. If you feel like trying to make money from SIA, pop along to http://www.sportsinteraction.com/ and hit the partner program link. I understand the terms are very good.

Monday... Monday was a day off, present shopping and stuff. The rest of the present shopping, that is, because we got a good bit of stuff from the Craft Fair in the RDS on Sunday. It was quite quite knackering; next year everything is being bought online.

Tuesday was work and then a Threshold of Ages game, in which the party returned an ancient elven city to Davon and reached Sigil tehmselves. Now all they have to do is find a portal to Davon. Easy, right?

Wednesday was the extended household Christmas dinner and gift exchange, which went over well as always. [livejournal.com profile] inannajones gave me a black velvet-and-satin robe, midway between the Nazgûl robes and Gandalf's, made by the extremely talented [livejournal.com profile] caturah. Everybody go buy clothes from [livejournal.com profile] caturah, for they rock. If it'll fit at all, I'm going to bring the robe to Finalnd, and see if I can make Katri explode. :)

Thursday was The Two Towers. I remained in a stunned silence afterward for about twenty minutes, and the effect hasn't quite worn off yet.

Fridy. Ugh. Today was supposed to be a day off, but in the interests of getting to the film yesterday, I said I'd come in for a couple of hours in the afternoon and finish things off. A couple of hours turned into six, as more and more stuff needed doing. That was not how I wanted to spend the day. But home now, relaxing, packing, and doing various chores that need doing before we go. I have a slightly sore throat, but I'm going to ignore it and have it go away, thank you very much.

Tomorrow, Finland. I am so looking forward to it.
