I am in the process of finding, for the first time in years, that I'm enjoying offline pursuits more than online. I spent most of today offline, shopping, cleaning the study and the kitchen sink, cooking, watching The Dark Crystal and Farscape, and just, well, not being online. This house seems to induce "old-fashioned" pursuits much more than Mount Argus ever did. And the day seems so much longer offline.

Tomorrow is as yet unbooked by anything, and I'm debating what to do with it. I could sink it into playing MOO3, which would be relaxing and good, but is ultimately not all that satisfying. I could - possiby even should - write more of the Gaelcon scenario, although it's far further along than last year's was at this time.I could read. Just read. I could try doing some calligraphy, which I'll be using for an upcoming A&S thing. Or I could work out plotlines for game stuff, which always needs doing.

I'll probably end up combining bits and pieces of all the above, really.

I've just spent a few minutes resizing and rotating pictures so I can finally upload them. [livejournal.com profile] inannajones took most of these; I'm not good at using cameras. And thanks to [livejournal.com profile] olethros for setting up the server.

So:

The corner of the kitchen, with cooker and spice rack.
Me glazing a pie this morning

The back garden, with her Ladyship.
Rain on leaves in the back garden
Rain on roses, also in the back garden

Myself and grahamb at Infest
inannajones and oakdryad, also at Infest

There must be some decent second-hand furniture warehouse type places in Dublin, right? Where are they?
