I really have brought in a considerable haul of books lately. Much of my new reading material is here in the study, for once. Since last week, I've bought, or received, having bought before:

Callahan's Lady - Spider Robinson
Lady Slings the Booze - Spider Robinson
Time Travellers Strictly Cash - Spider Robinson
(Those three eBay'd from [livejournal.com profile] dreamingcrow)
Thieves World 8: Soul of the City - ed. Robert Lynn Asprin and Lynn Abbey
Trading in Danger - Elizabeth Moon
The Best from Fantasy and Science Fiction - ed. Edward L Ferman and Gordon van Gelder
Onion Girl - Charles de Lint
The Year's Best Fantasy and Horror 13 - ed. Ellen Datlow and Terri Windling
The Year's Best Fantasy and Horror 15 - ed. Ellen Datlow and Terri Windling
Cyclopædia of Names - ed Benjamin E Smith, A.M.
(This one was published in 1894. It has no front or back cover, but the spine is still there. It's huge, and it cost all of €5)
The Subcultures Reader - ed. Ken Gelder and Sarah Thornton
Beneath the Tree of Heaven - David Wingrove
The Naked God - Peter F Hamilton

There were a few more as well, but they've moved to elsewhere in the house, and it's too early to go rummage for them. Quite a pile, as you can see. And this doesn;t count magazines, comics, and other readables.

Oh, and there's a short story - actually a book extract, I think - by Vernor Vinge on IEEE at the minute, titled Synthethic Serendipity
