Today,
inannajones and I set in to cleaning up the sitting room and the hall. This turned into a notion of extracting books to eBay off, and then into a notion of putting the fiction in alphabetical order. About two hours of hard slog, they're in that order, and I have a pile of about 180 assorted duplicates and unwanteds to sell. If anyone local wants to come and have a look, they're all going for 2 euros each, or six for 10 euros before they hit eBay. After they hit eBay (some may go on tonight, the rest over the coming week), you're competing with the hordes. Looking at it, it's more sci-fi and fantasy than most second-hand bookshops have.
I might, just possibly, get a list of them up here before they go on eBay, but I make no promises.
There're a few CDs to go as well, say 3 euros each. An odd assortment.
There's some non-fiction to go as well, but I haven't look properly at that yet.
We have to go back and clean up the effects of the cleanup now soon, but we're doing good. I feel very virtuous. Of course, this cleaning up and having energy thing doesn't help my impression that autumn has arrived early... hence the new icon.
