Awake

It's been a long while since I had any form of insomnia. But here I am, 2 in the morning and wide awake. I can't even blame it on the coffee, since I've had not one drop all day. An hour of faffing around is finally starting to produce some yawns, so with a little luck, I'll be sleepy soon.

Flu day today. Home, mostly asleep. Watched Edward Scissorhands and could not, at this moment, tell you one thing about it. Now sitting upright so as to stay awake so as to sleep tonight. Mildly fascinated by the perception, when I lace my hands and don't look at them, that the fingers are stick thin, and the hands swollen. Haven't had that feeling from flu in years. Also, not hungry, which is, uh, out of character.
