I've done some poking around, and found that my hosting for inranelagh.com supports a very nice Wordpress install. And with some further tinkering, that'll post anything I post there on LJ as well, and I can import stuff to it from LJ too. So I can now present: Now Is A Long Time Too, with some of the bells and whistles I want, and more to come. In the meantime, posts will still appear here, comments allowed, and so on, so ye won't have to changes anything. Bookmark it, link it, the usual.

Wired magazine really seems to have dropped to tabloid levels. The latest thing that’s popped in my incoming feeds from them is the 10 Wackiest E-Commerce Sites. Being honest, they’re not even all that wacky, it’s just a round-up of sites selling stuff on the web.

It’s just come to my attention that Microsoft rolled out the Eolas “fix” in the last round of updates, and Flash no longer works in IE the way it used to. If anyone has a cleaner workaround than this javascript, please let me know. Otherwise I’m going to have a less than fun time tomorrow working out where in a massive, dynamically built website we’re using object tags.
