Not as enthused about getting going this morning, and I think I've discovered an extra sense. Yes, lying there in bed, eyes closed, I can tell how much cloud cover there is, and I can measure it by my own willingness to get up. On days of 1/8 or zero cloud cover, I spring out of bed cheerful and ready to take on anything. Up to about 6/8, there are varying degrees of waning enthusiasm. At 7/8, there is a fair chance that I'll consider another half hour's sleep. And at full cloud cover, I really have to force myself out of bed, force myself to move, force myself to dress... and I'm a nice guy, I don't like forcing anything, and I'm also a stubborn bloke, who doesn't like being forced. It's not a happy combination.

Now. Must pack SCA gear, if I can, remember to wrap inannajones' birthday present at some point today, and haul my slow self out that door.
