Work are now providing medical insurance - I pay something like 30 euro a month, and VHI cover what seems like everything you might ever need, including GP visits, for both myself and Nina. Between this and the annual bus/train ticket for small money, I like this working thing.

That sounds alright! The company pays for mine, but I have to be seriously diseased before I can use it (ie, it'll pay for consultant appts but not for GPs). This means I've never actually used it... though I could maybe do with seeing a heart doc sometime soon, and I suspect I've more chance of getting an appt if I have private health care, since I'm borderline...
