People seem to be very confused in work today. I came in to a request to do something silly, with a silly deadline. I got the deadline changed, and started to enquire about the silliness, at which point the whole thing evaporated, and now there's a fair bit of confusion about who asked for it in the first place.

I blame the drinking.
