yendi mentioned in a comment on my post about the Authority d20 stuff that Millar's work on it made no sense. Now, I thought to myself something like "Ah well, how bad could it be?" and bought the fourth book anyway.

Holy mackrel.

The man was not kidding. It hath negative sense. It is complete, even for a high-unreality setting, nonsense. It is almost (but not actually) charming in its sheer I-had-a-100%-acid-diet-while-I-was-writing-this-ness. It is all fucked up.

And it all goes back to the way it was at the end, leading me to suspect that Warren Ellis called Marc Millar, and threatened him with GBH.
