There is a good feeling of autumn in the air; I'm fostering this by burning candles and thinking about cooking, in a lesirely manner. The new books and other presents help with this too - by now, I'm beginning to associate them with autum and winter. And the cat is completely crashed out on a folded duvet that was down for people to sit on last night; this is almost as autumnal as if she were curled up in a basket. I'm going to be going on about the season for a few weeks now; I like it and it feels more than usual.

Autumn is definately a good thing, its not here very often. It's probably the one month of the year where the change of seasons is most noticeable, mainly due to the fact that things change completely in such a short space of time. The leaves, the weather, the nights draw in.

I like autumn. I spent some of it in Boston last year, and it was like, autumn, only more so. The colours were fantastic.

And you can't beat leaving first thing in the morning, the sun is just coming up and that autumnal chill in the air as you walk through the morning mist.

Autumn. Good.

We are getting mixed signals here. The leafs are changing, which is a good thing, and the nights are getting longer, which is usually a good thing..but the temperatures are still getting in the upper 30s...want cool weather I do.
