I predict strengthened economic growth in the US, mirrored on this side of the Atlantic, to be followed by a catastrophic downturn there in late 2007-early 2008 as the interest on the national debt there gets ever more crippling.
I predict more dead Israelis and more dead Palestinians.
I predict either my getting an ulcer, giving notice, or saying "fuck off" much more often in work.
I predict the smoking ban not getting pushed back beyond May, and I predict that it will actually be implemented, and that, at least in the capital, people will wonder what all the fuss was about.
Well, Bush's presidency seems, economically, to be following the trajectory of Reagan's, which had its abrupt downfall late in his second term. So, 2007.
As to the Levant, well, yeah. No-one in power is trying or even thinking about trying to stop it, though. Humans suck.
Actually I predict that the smoking ban will never actually happen, and once it doesn't the media will go back to looking at the drinking problem and violence in the cities that the smoking ban was a smokescreen (scuse pun) for.
I also predict that some bleached blonde adonis in a leather trenchcoat will get drunk and jump Bertie on a street some day soon.

Will that do? :-)

Any particular reason for 2007-2008 for the debt becoming crippling?
