Armouring Up

I spent the practice last night going over armour with Cernac. Barring the fact that my legs - and hopefully my belt - migrated to Eplaheimr over the last while, everything seems to be there. I have my own helm, legs and arms (one of which need holes bored in it), a borrowed body (which needs padding), borrowed full and half gauntlets, shoulders that need a bit more work and possibly some strapping, a borrowed gorget, and a borrowed sword and shield, both of which need a little work too. Somehow, I think I still need to get a lot of gear. But at least I have my own helm, which is the most expensive bit.

Looking forward (with some nervousness) to this weekend. It's unusual for me to be nervous about something, so I'm rather enjoying it.

heheh - 5 kenniggets to beat on you ;-) better take monday off, you will be knackered and sore, not so much bruised I think. Definitely prepare for a long hot bath when coming home. ;-)
