Virus Outbreak

Anyone else being battered by the mydoom/Novarg virus? My virus checker caught 345 occurrences overnight, which is theoretically after the mail server has cleared things out.

naah, I am only getting them on one ML and that's a Linux one amusingly enough ... - so I still have gotten less than a hundred.

Haven't gotten a single one, our IT guys are fanatical about keeping this place clean though, I only even get a virus warning once every couple of months.

Without meaning to sound harsh, you've been looking in the wrong place. Take a look at the relevant entry on my journal yesterday for a lot of people who've been having issues.

This *should* be easy to stop, but it's still spreading, it's a pain in the ass for lots of people.

Seen a few, in my regular Mail Box. Deleted them, as they *look* weird anyway. But I'm on a Mac so I can't [yet] be infected. [_tiny_ smug smile]

As I answer the emails for our division, the email address is prominently posted on the web, and point of contact for other divisions. It's not as bad as SoBig, yet.
