Books

I must stop buying books. I must stop buying books.

Today's haul consists of: Release 2.1: A design for living in the Digital Age, by Esther Dyson, The Rise and Fall of Merry England: The Ritual Year 1400-1700, by Ronald Hutton, and The Compleat Enchanter, by L. Sprague de Camp & Fletcher Pratt. Also a Dragon and a sort of compiled-edition-comic; the first three issues in one cover of George R. R. Martin's The Hedge Knight.

Also, for those who were asking, the Barbara Hambly books I got from Edinburgh were Sisters of the Raven, and Magic Time, the latter co-written with Marc Scott Zicree, whoever he is.

Ditto...

Over the weekend, Unearthed Arcana and all of the Night's Dawn trilogy.

And that's on top of the massive pile of B5 books work are sending me.

You've probably read American Gods and Watchmen, ne? Cuz I could just lend those to you....

I've read American Gods - I think I might even have got it signed the last time Neil was in town. It's been a long time since I saw Watchmen, though, and I wasn't really much into comics at the time. I'd appreciate the loan, although it must wait a while; my "to read" queue is very long already. Actually, the "to finish reading" queue is very long too...

That's perfectly fine. I've managed to forget most of what was in my 'to read' queue since I moved, though Jason swears it was full of these things he conveniently keeps handing me when I'm home. Anytime you actually feel like reading Watchmen, let me know, since I have a copy of the trade paperback that's itching to get off my shelf.
