Potluckery

A most excellent SCA potluck this afternoon and evening. Lots of people - 24! 24! - even some new people, and very good food, and very good atmosphere. Played tablut (badly, as ever). Drank beer. Almost no politics. And we even had a guest or two from outside the shire, most notably Jarl Peregrine, down from Nordmark. The next thing to add to our feast gear is a tablecloth or two, I think. And I'm amused to note that after not even a year in the society, we've enough stuff to lend garb and gear to other people.

Eek! We meant to go along, but our weekend got sort of comandeered by clearing out ephiriel's parents' garage, in advance of out moving in there, so we completely forgot about it. And it would have been just the thing to help us wind down after all that work, too. (And I could even have put pressure on people to join P-CON...) :)

Hopefully we'll make it next time.
