I think I can safely say the barbecue was successful. I'm not going to even
try to list everyone who was there [1]. It effectively stretched over two
days, with people coming back for more on Sunday. I was utterly bemused not
to have a hangover, though, either yesterday morning or this morning.

I think we hit some kind of record for people leaving stuff behind, up to
and including a couple of lottery scratch cards, one of which is good for a
draw entry. Whoever owns that should come and pick it up before I fill in
my own name and send it off. If you're missing anything, let me know.

And I believe I promised my old Legend of the Five Rings cards to someone
too, so if you're that person, let me know so I can dig them out for you.
If you're not that person, and you want them, let me know, and if that
person doesn't come forward, they're yours. If nobody asked me about them,
you didn't read this paragraph.

As to scandal, gossip, and other such juicy information... well, you should
have been there, shouldn't you? I'm sure it'll all filter back sooner or
later. No ambulances were called this year.

[1] But as far as I know, only three attendants did not have a
livejournal, and I'm fairly sure they'll succumb before this time next
year. As market penetration goes, that's pretty terrifying.
