Erikson

[livejournal.com profile] caturah and others who pointed me at Steven Erikson - thank you! My review on dukestreet of Gardens of the Moon will tell you how much I liked it, and if you could see your way clear to leaving the other books in the series where I can get 'em, I'd muchly appreciate it.

For those of you who didn't already know, dukestreet is my other blog - scifi and fantasy and gaming mutterings. You can read it without leaving the comfort of LJ at [livejournal.com profile] dukestreet - I usually just put the first paragraph or so in the feed, so your friends page won't be jammed with it.

He he... another convert. Excellent!

The library would have all of them, if you don't feel an urgent need to buy them immediately.
2) Deadhouse gates
3) Memories of ice
4) House of chains
5) Midnight tides

I just got Midnight Tides in the mail on Friday. For some reason, Bantam didn't start publishing these books in the USA until recently, and now I have no patience for waiting for the US editions.

I thought Gardens of the Moon was great, but Deadhouse Gates was astonishing.

You're most welcome. If you like (cos I know the rate you read at) I can leave the next four books in the series in capel st for you to collect on thursday.
