I thought I was better this morning, but now I feel unpleasant again. Nausea, muscle pain, slight dizziness. However, my boss (and by this I mean the boss, not the Boss, if that makes sense) says that there's a "hospital stomach bug" going, and that what I have sounds just right. Yay.

Will do. Also have permission to bugger off home if I get too uncomfortable.

afaik the hospital bug is only an overnight thing, good luck

Ugh. Feel better. You're stronger than I -- I'd be home in bed, whimpering.

Sometimes, it's good to whimper.

Dunno 'bout the whimpering - I mean, what would the cat think?

But I am now heading for the doc's office, and hopefully I'll get something to help it. Home thereafter.

Cats love whining, whimpering sick people. They're a captive audience and good to sit on as they don't move much.

Precisely! Cats, especially my Kethri-Cat, who is nearly as affectionate as the dogs, would be more than happy to spend the entire day curled up on my chest if I were sick.

And I would definitely whimper about that because she's turning into quite the lump.

The Winter Vomiting Bug (tm) is very, very bad, thought short-lived. But we're talking constant vomiting here, often of the projectile sort. At least according to everything I've read. Leaves you knocked flat for a few days too apparently, though the sickness itself doesn't last that long. Hopefully docotr will have been able to do/recommend something. Motilium is good for nausea, Arret for diarrhoea (whooooo! I spelt it right!!). Make sure you get lots of liquids.

Ok, the pseudo-pharmacist-doctor-wannabe will buzz off now :)
