I'm alive. Network card - or more accurately, the dongle (yes, that's the correct technical term) that connects the card to the cable - is busted. So I haven't been able to log on from the laptop, and won't be until I get something working in that. Going to look for something today at lunchtime, though, so hopefully all will be well soon.

I'm thinking that the best way to go is a Xircom Realport (that's the one you got, right?) - prevents the same happening again, and should work without hassle. Alternately, if you're going wireless, can I have yours? :)
