There's an article by JC Hertz (author of Surfing on the Internet) on Wired about Korean baangs - gaming cybercafes - and the whole Korean internet experience. Korea is rapidly heading toward being as connected as - if not more connected than - Finland. And the culture of online gaming there sounds fascinating. It's even televised - three cable channels dedicated to it.
