Books bought over the weekend include: Jon Courtenay Grimwood's Effendi (I haven't read anything of his before, but I think I like), and Lois McMaster Bujold's The Curse of Chalion. And I'm currently reading Kim Stanley Robinson's The Years of Rice and Salt, which is bloody brilliant, really.
