[livejournal.com profile] kobold mentioned running a single-player play-by-email D&D game a few weeks ago. I've been mulling over the idea, and I've decided I want to do one. But here's the odd bit - I want to play, not run it.

Anyone out there willing to run something for me?

Low fantasy, primarily. Mostly humans and shorter races, but some new ones too. Fin de siecle feeling. Gods indirectly involved, apart from rare occasions. There's plot, bigger plot, and even bigger plot, to paraphrase a friend of mine :)

Interesting. Interested. What could I play, class and race wise, and when could you start? :)

Start early next week. Class: everything apart from cleric, for which I have to hear a good justification. Race: human or shorter, half-human also, anything bulkier I've to hear a good justification for.

If your willing to wait until June, I have a short campaign mulling/stewing/running rampant in my head.
It wouldn't really work as a 1 on 1 game, but a small number of people.

I'll probably go for that, too, but what I'm looking for should be now, email, and solo. :)

Re:

If you want to give me an idea...I'm sure I could batter something out, although:
a) I've never done anything via email before...so it'd be a bit rocky at the beginning.

b) It'd be everyday, perhaps once a day...if less for the time being, just until the exams are out of the way.

c) It'd depend on my e-mail access, but thats fairly regular.
