gothwalk: (magic)

I've just been poking for a bit at DeviantArt, and it really does make me wish I had a bit more in the line of artistic talent. gothwalk on there as well, obviously.

It's been an oddly frustrating day in work, with projects appearing and disappearing, and no huge certainty of what should be done. I'm settling for working on automation, to make sure I don't lose two days again to unstable odds, or whatever.

This evening, [livejournal.com profile] inannajones is masterminding a Girls' Night In, so I intend to take myself into town and plot and scheme some in the comfort of the Library Bar, in the Central Hotel. They don't mind me having gaming books all over the place there, and have never even objected to me rolling dice.

[livejournal.com profile] inannajones has also introduced me to the works of Banana Yoshimoto, and I really like the writing. It's a deceptively simple, sometimes self-referential style, and it's seriously evocative stuff.

Kingfisher's Way starts on Saturday. I'm not sure yet if I have enough planned. Still, that's what this evening is for.

I go to DevArt daily, but never actually joined up... does it cost anything? Do you have to contribute?

It doesn't cost anything, and you don't have to contribute. It also allows you faintly useful stuff like a profile, and a watchlist, which I find neat.
