It's October; I'm allowed decorations for Samhain. Therefore, I have a mass of "spiderweb" draped across my monitor (looks like fake snow right now, but I'll get it teased out into webby looking stuff soon enough) and a medium sized fake pumpkin (seems to be good enough to fool three in five people who've asked, so far), along with a small rubber skeleton dangling from the corner of my machine. I have some glow in the dark bats, too, and there were some spiders with the web, but out of respect for the arachnophobic members of the company, I'm going to leave them out. Yay Hallowe'en!

I've been intending to update my own website, decide whether to keep the old blogger weblog or switch entirely to LJ, change the layout, make the damn thing look like I actually know something about design. I haven't usually found time. But I think I just got the necessary kick to get moving - inannajones' cousins Sparkle and Katri both have incredibly pretty layouts for their weblogs. I'm officially jealous, and will be doing something about this as soon as I get some time.
