More relaxed today. No panicking. Calm is all about. The fact that there are very few people in work today, and that nothing is visibly broken, probably has a lot to do with that.
This looks interesting: The Voynich Manuscript. Now, if that were a cipher for Linear A...
I've rediscovered gamegrene.com as well. I've really got to bookmark these things better. Or pay attention to the bookmarks I have, even.
This morning's trip to work was a continuing experiment in how best to get here. Yesterday I walked to Landsdowne Road and got a DART, leaving the house at 08:10 and arriving at work about 09:05. This morning, I left the house at 07:50, got an 11 to the end of the Appian Way, and a 46A from there to Dun Laoghaire. Arrived in work at 09:00. Much of a muchness, really.
But the 46A route... man, that bus goes everywhere. Including Monkstown, which on this morning's survey may in fact replace Bagenalstown as my personal Most Boring Place in Ireland. Miles of dull, same-ish 70s-built houses, and not one, not two, but three chippers called "Marios".
(Of course, as I write, something's turned up broken. Yay. Off to fix it.)
