inannajones, metalrabbit and microgirl are having a girls' night. olethros is suspected of being a collaborator. He and I and mr_wombat were supposed to head for the cinema, but mr_wombat isn't well, and besides, it got too late. So I'm lurking in the corner with beer (Wychwood's Circle Master) and the computer. And I'm strongly considering opening a window and smoking a cigar, cos the estrogen level in here is getting very high. :)

I cooked a really, really good risotto tonight - my first ever. While they're not for the amateur, it wasn't that bad, apart from needing pretty much constant attention. If anyone's interested, I'll bung the recipe up here?

And now I'm going to surf the web, poke at lj searches, and relax. More beer!

The cat is sitting on my lap, chasing the cursor, and trying to type. Everyone else is gone to visit metalrabbit's rabbits, and I think she was a bit surprised to find anyone still in the house. I have been deemed worthy for the moment.
