I feel queasy like you wouldn't believe this morning. It's really not pleasant. It seems to be out beyond just plain ol' throwin' up queasy and into off balance, wobbling, this is your brain on e coli territory.
OK, I surrender. I'm going to take a sick day. I seem to be more or less ok as long as I stay sitting - standing or lying are not happy, and moving around is bad news.
I just realised there now, while sending a mail to
springinautumn, that I haven't sent a mail from this machine in over a week. And seeing as I send almost no mails while I'm in work, that means that almost all my non-work correspondence is happening via LJ and Farflung. That's kinda strange.
By the way, what's the current MP3 finding software of choice?

For obvious reasons, I will not be running a game in Capel Street this evening. The rest of you will have to entertain me.
I'm very pleased with this icon; it's all my own work, with only the general shape of the armour coming from anywhere else.
Being unwell reduces my attention span to a fraction of its normal length. Usually, I can concentrate on one thing for hours at a stretch - up to five, six hours for things that really interest me. Now, I'm down at the five minute mark. And things that would normally really interest me aren't that interesting, and things I'm not even remotely interested in normally are suddenly the best thing ever. I've already had to come back to this entry a few times, and it wasn't for the fact that it's in semagic rather than the web update, it might already have been closed. This really, really bugs me. I need my attention span to get anything done. I cannot honestly remember what I did all day; I know I was awake, but I cannot for the life of me see where eight, ten hours of the day have gone.
Despite being sick (you don't want to know how ill I was and possibly still am), it hasn't been a bad day. I can feel my attention span returning. And I found new music - Arcana, and Hammerfall, both Swedish bands.
There is a song which I have only ever heard in one shop in Dublin, and it wasn't a music shop; they were just playing the radio. All three times. One of the lyrics was something like "...and I will lay me down, in the hollow ground" - or possibly "hallowed ground", or possibly I'm completely mishearing it. Any ideas?
