(no subject)

I have a bag full of squashes. Two are medium, for carving - one a variant pumpkin, the other something green. The other four look like rejects from a Star Wars casting for vegetables. They don't look like plants at all - indeed, one of them looks like it's going to attack any minute. The guy at the stand in the markets says they'll keep for about 6 months if the shell is left intact.
