Fight Practice

Fight practice last night. I was in armour - except for the helm, which needs work - and moving reasonably well in it. I've identified a few other areas that need work - mostly in the sword arm area, and I am in desperate, definite need of a different shield, because the wooden one I have is too heavy, and not strapped right. I used Arthur's for a few minutes, and the difference was rather stunning. We have a newbie as well, who's enthusiastic, and has now turned up to two practices - and an A&S and the potluck too, so I think we have another. He's unusual in that he's actually Irish - we don't have many of those.

I got some cards printed off as well, with SCA and real name, relevant keywords ("Knight Marshall", "Medieval Armoured Combat", etc) and contact details, so that if I run into anyone who's interested, I can just hand them a card. caturah, you want me to get you some too? They appear to be a useful thing for a chatelaine.
