Right. Some more detail, then, now that I'm down off the high that I seem to get from armour. I have: helm, gorget, body (plates riveted to leather for flexibility), belt, arms, one demi-gauntlet, legs, and those shinguards as greaves. The helm needs a little more padding; it's sitting slightly low on the right, and tends to ring a little too much from a good blow. The body needs padding, full stop; the last owner wore a padded jerkin underneath. The arms need padding in the forearms. The legs are pretty good as is, although they don't cover the outside rear quarter of the thigh as much as I'd like; one almost full strength blow rolled around last night and caught me pretty solidly on the left. I can drop to one, the other or both knees, and I think I can still move the sword when fully armoured, although I didn't get time to try a full drill. I still need shoulders and one demi-gauntlet, which I should be be able to borrow from Lord Ulfric at the event.The demi-gauntlet I have needs a little padding, although not much, since I'll wear a glove.

I'll be spending this evening working on that, and then getting into it and having inannajones and olethros hit me to make sure everything is properly padded. I suspect they'll probably enjoy it.
