It's manky wet weather out there, and for the first time in ages, it was necessary to get a bus rather than walking across to the train. Feel all twitchy now. We're apparently due a decent cold spell over the weekend, though, so I'm planning to spend the weekend in, doing food stuff, which I haven't done enough of this year. There'll probably be some experimental dishes on the go as well as standard things for freezing purposes, so if anyone feels like guinea-pigging, drop over. I'm thinking of making an attempt on some Indian cookery. If anyone has recommendations for easy Indian recipes, comment below - and bear in mind that I live in Ireland, so many exotic goods are hard to come by.

Would love to be a guinea pig but between being a veggie and having my mom over I don't think it is viable for me to come over :*(

If you have problems getting ingredients let me know- I live just off SCR, and we have lots of Asian shops here as the mosque is nearby.

I'm sure we wouldn't shock your mother too much if you brought her along. :) And if you have any Indian vegetarian recipes you could recommend, I'll be happy to try them too. I think a fair bit of authentic Indian cusine is vegetarian anyway, and the emphasis of the Indian restaurants here on meat is a concession to the usual tastes in this country.

No you wouldn't shock her- she was at her first Cam game last night and played my ghoul ;*) Happy to be guinea pig if you do not have too many people already, just tell us when to turn up. We can bring Lebkuchen for desert, make it an international meal!

Don't have any Indian recipies, I don't cook much I am afraid.
