It turns out that not only is Arthur willing to teach heavy combat, but he's good at it - he has a system which all works, he doesn't spin off on tangents, and he's going to be there for every session. He has training gear, too. I think it'll work well.

Bloke who just arrived here in Ireland. He's originally from somewhere in the US - whichever kingdom it is doesn't allow fencing - but has spent the last two years someplace in Africa.

And Duke Sir Irel will be in Ireland in November-early Dec. I've given him Etienne's, Sigmundr's and Cernac's email addresses. And vice versa. He can't authorise, but he's more than willing to train. He's stepping down as King of the Outlands in early November (third time), and then he's off on holiday. He's friends with Duke Sir Elffin here in England, btw.
