Some tiff between the English Soccer team and the FA took up most of Sky News this morning. Demonstrated to me that the world is inherently ridiculous. That, combined with cooking last night, a bath before bed, good sleep and some odd dreams1, have restored me to my normal inhumanly cheerful self.

Some clown on TH is disputing my translation of an Irish term. I crack my knuckles at him, and will reply when I can be bothered.

1I regard dreaming of people running from me screaming "Nooo! The Trousers!" to be odd. You?

I think the English football team should run from Sven Goran Ericsson screaming "Nooo! The trousers!"

Ah, I dunno. You seen the Irish managers? Last guy (McCarthy) looked like someone who might knock at your door and offer to take away any old junk you had for a few quid.

I remember Charlton at the 1990 World Cup. After that it's a blur.
