There is a hair on my keyboard. It is sproingy, straight, and white. It is in fact a whisker. But I am in work. The cat is not here. The cat has developed the ability to teleport whiskers to me. This does, however, remind me that I must pick up cat litter this evening. The teleporting whiskers are still worrying.

It may be that there is residue from when I lost my alternate reality to your environs. Pay no attention to the whiskers. Unless they start picketing for education reform. Then we may have a problem on our hands. Keyboard. Whatever.

Malkav does that too. Mostly with fur, but occasionally his whiskers will mysteriously appear.

Maybe thats the true reason early radios were called cat's whiskers, picking up on the inherent telegram-like properties of feline hair follicles? :)

Teleporting whiskers are nothing. Wait till the entire cat starts doing it...or when they develop voice-throwing abilities, and mew in your ear from one floor and two rooms away...
