Quiet

Damn, it's quiet today. There's not as much as a peep from the States, and the Boss, the Guy I Report To, and the Head Tech are all away for one reason or another. I can get on with some general caretaking and pruning on the website in peace and quiet.

Yeah. Which means that we had frantic stuff going on earlier this week prepping for it, and now everything is quiet, cos they're all asleep.

It's not quite 7:00 a.m. in the east, which makes it not quite 4:00 a.m. out west, so that explains some of the quiet. I'll probably be here off and on today -- I have nothing to do but work at my desk until it's time to go to Grama's house.

I know, but there are plenty of folks who are either getting up and making early posts around now, usually, or people on the Pacific Coast who haven't yet gone to bed. And not many of the newsfeeds or rss syndications are pulling much in either. I can still see stuff from when I came in this morning at the bottom of my 50-entry friends page, and that's almost never the case at 12:15...
