It doesn't exactly strike pant-wetting fear in me, you need a shield that really emphasises the fact that you have a big sword. Maybe some script saying "Ask us about our generous personal injury compensation"
Nah. When you've got a helmet on, it drains your intelligence enough that you can't read. And red or yellow just makes them mad. This will be soothing, calming, and so on.
Your annulet is a bit small. I haven't checked for conflict like my colleagues did but try Vert, a pile argent and overall an annulet counterchanged.
That way your ring is larger and doesn't leave so much blank on the shield.
Oh and... I know Arpad did this for you but I have to say this, using Blazons isn't the best way to draw a heraldic shield.
What's your SCA name again? Remeber you'll need to have that registered if you want to register a device.
If you need more advice either drop me an email (ulf(at)harpelstane(dot)org) or contact Lord Robin of Dalriada in Glen Rathlin, he's my deputy for Ireland.
Blazon95 or Blazon2000 suck, I use photoshop, it's much cleaner.
Counterchanged means that when you use two tinctures when your charge is over tincture 1, it'll be of tincture 2 and when it's over tincture 2 it'll be of tincture 1.
So basically if you were to draw an annulet all over your shield, the bits of the annulet over the field (which is green) would be white and the bits over the pile would be green.
Again, I don't know whether that conflicts or not...
it's blazon95 and I agree - counterchanging is out afaik but if one moves the ring up and makes it bigger to fill as much of the pile as possible it should be ok.
I'm definitely going for something with fairly simple geometry, even if this one isn't accepted - my drawing isn't great, and I'd like something that I can still draw quickly and accurately.

And Arpad only suggested the program; Blazon95. :) What's the better way to draw it?
What does countercharged mean?
