I need some way to record thoughts. Twice in the last three days, I've gone to write something down, and by the time I have a pen in hand, it's gone.

Or some little palm/ebookman thing with grafitti, you're less likely to leave something expensive stuck between novels on a bookshelf. Odds are that you'd keep it in its docking station and always know where it is.

Which would be dead handy on a train.

I'm cheap... I just have a "bum-bag" which always has at least one pen (usually 2-3) and at least one item to write in (usually 2-3) :)
