Ah, c'mon. We get decent gigs here about once every two years. NOFX haven't set foot on Irish soil in about ten years. You can wander out any weekend - social life permitting - and hit a decent enough concert within an hour's drive.
An excellent light punk band, who've been running for quite a number of years now. You've almost certainly heard Monosyllabic Girl, I'm Telling Tim, or the like - that's them.
Humph, I'm going to join the jealous pout crew despite living in London. At Leeds Festival a couple of years ago I didn't make it up there in time for NOFX on the Friday night, because I was still working for those time-fascists at Samedan and they wouldn't let me out. When I got there NOFX had just left the stage and all my friends were raving about how great they were, especially 'Idiot Son of an Asshole'...
Angwels lives though in somewhat altered form. It became an Extraordinary world and it is here. (http://hopefulviper.us/angwel) Its board tanked precisely a week ago. All the Template Depot boards tanked so it is once again a blank slate. The train theme is my own weird invention. I figured we had always had an Angwel's competing at ZOID and we were going to keep having an Angwel's competing at ZOID.
