Directed to the Irish: Folks. The gloating. It is unreasonable. We're good losers, can we not be gracious winners too?

Some sports thing. Bunch of men chasing a ball. But to listen to them here, you'd think they'd all done it personally.

Yeah, it's sickening. I know I personally never live vicariously through anyone or anything ever.

uuuhhhh?
No?

*off to do a happy dance!*

But seriously, we beat one of, if not the best teams in rugby. I didn't see all of the match, but of what I did see, the team pulled their act togther, and kept it togther for most of the match.
Give it a couple of days, it'll settle.
You remember how the things were after the Grandslam?

Not much gloating done here, just celebrating that we beat the world champions (crowned less than six months ago).

We're good losers

And so you should be. You've certainly had plenty of practice ;-)

Gloating

Actually I was gloating a bit but mainly because it was England's first competitive game at home in Twickenham after winning the world cup and they had planned a party and a parade for after the match.

That and of course it was England.
