tough call - merlin son of corwin, corwin himself(supposing you find him), or random, king of amber? hell, maybe all three? course we'd have to have tea or soft drinks. can't do that coffee thing much. the burning, burning pain.

how about a box of fruit juice with Bean from Ender's Shadow/Ender's Game? :) that'd be fun.

Bean - I dunno, I'd prefer the illusion that I might be equal in intelligence, and Bean wouldn't leave much doubt that as far as he was concerned, you weren't all that smart.

true that. and of all of them he's probably the most likely to be ok just chilling out. after all, he's the only one of them who isn't a few centuries or more old, so he hasn't learned the virtues of impatience in old age yet. ;)

Well, once Bean's gotten a bit older, see, I think he might be interesting to meet at a cafe or something. Sometime when he's not as worried about using his assets purely for survival, as is his mindset all through Ender's Shadow. That way, he won't -have- to reach out with his intellect and snap your or me in half like a twig. ;)

for some reason my book-brain has gone a bit dead and i can't think of anyone else, but I know there are shit-tons of characters i'd like to hang out with... Ford Prefect! yes. now _that_ would be mind-boggling.

I've heard rumours, and I think she's said she will, but there's no sign of it yet, as far as I know.

Having checked with barbarahambly.com, she said in 1999 that she'd get back to them, but hasn't yet.
