I hate throwing up. I really, really hate it. And it seems to be my body's favourite way to let me know it's not well. Everyone else gets things like rashes, sore throat, loss of voice, dizzy spells, and so on. I get to throw up. Admittedly, this particualr bug seems to be all about throwing up. I look forward to the day when there are nanotech infections, and I can catch GURPS instead.

Are you sure you haven't caught the vomitting bug?
The REALLY infectious one that has practically shut down St. Vincents?

Sounds like it.
And it if is...well ring your GP! As people have been advised to quarentine themselves and those that they live with. Due to the bug being really infectious.

I hope I'm not scare mongering.

Make sure to keep drinking plenty of water. You can dehydrate really fast if you're throwing up all the time. And when you get to the point that you think you might be able to cope with food, dry toast, though incredibly boring, is easy on an upset inside.

Take care of yourself!

Not my favorite thing, either. Take care of yourself.

if you've been throwing up repeatedly (3x or more) I recomend NOT trying to drink anything within about an hour of throwing up. (this also holds true for intoxication related vomiting). In addition gatorade or similar kinds of drinks are much better than water, as they help replenish electrolytes that you are also loosing. Make sure you sip VERY slowly - and even just enough at a time so you dont actually feel like you're swallowing much can be good. Your body cant absorb more than about 4 ounces in 15 minutes - about 100 mL.

get lots of rest and feel better. And, if it continues a doctor visit might not be a bad idea- especially if there is something particuarly virulent going around.
