It's a freaky little meme thing that traces the path from you to the originator of the meme, and then takes advantage of the fact that you're logged in to LJ to post itself to your journal. It's sort of fascinating and offensive at the same time.

I was going to try it and then delete it, but since people are commenting, I'll leave it here.

Guh. That person is screening comments, but here's what I commented there:

"Um, no. It can't get your password. All it does is redirect your browser to livejournal's update script, with pre-populated form data. LJ checks for a cookie on your machine - finds it, of course, and accepts the data.

It does not swipe your password.

That's what I figured, but I was at work, so I didn't have the time to dig through the code (especially since I can't alter IE at work, and that's all it runs :( )
